About Insurance

I am listed as a provider under Anthem's Traditional Plan. If you have any other Anthem plan or any other type of insurance, I will be listed as an out of network provider.

That means I will need you to pay full fee at the time of service. My current hourly rate is $90.

I will provide you with a receipt that includes all of the information that an insurance company would need to file an out of network claim. It will be up to you to turn in the paperwork to your insurance company.

Please check with your individual insurance company to see about coverage.

Keep in mind the following:

  1. Often, even with coverage, reimbursement on mental health is 50%  or less. Often some diagnosis' are covered and others are not.
  2. Couples therapy is rarely covered by insurance.
  3. Out of pocket therapy fees can be applied to health savings accounts.
  4. Find out if out of network providers can be applied toward your deductible.
