I am introducing a new opportunity called Healthy Nests. It is designed for the new couple with a child 1-3 years of age.  This program is for the couple who is not experiencing marial problems but is dealing with the every day stressors of having a young child. 

  The program is a 3 session evaluatory program that covers common issues for couples with new children.  Each couple is given a series of assessment tools and tasks to evaluate the strengths and growth areas of the relationship. At the third session, the couple is provided with a written summary of the findings.

  The goals of the program are to identify couples' strengths and growth areas BEFORE marital crisis, normalize the stresses of new parenthood,  and to offer suggestions to help strengthen the relationship going forward.

  The cost of the program is $200 for the 3 sessions. Sessions beyond the first 3 would be billed at the going rate of $90 but most couples come for the evaluation only. If they are experiencing more serious marital distress a more comprehensive therapeutic approach would be required.

Couples with substance abuse issues or issues of domestic violence will not be considered for this program.
