Extremely Loud and Incredibly  Close: A Novel   The title says it all in this fictional novel by Jonathan Safran Foer.  The main character is a young boy who recently lost his father in 9/11.  A good ficitional example of a child who is feeling like he can’t get a break along with a variety of characters in his real and extended family who help him through his journey. Does he use any of the ideas mentioned above?   An inspiring story of resilience.
